Chinmoku, Ayame (Complete)

Appearance: Ayame was often described as a very beautiful woman. She had flawless pale skin and long, rich black hair that fell past her slim waist, which was tied into a loose ponytail with a loose red ribbon. She stood around five foot six, and had big, violet, doll-like eyes.
Ayame wears the traditional dress of a miko. Ayame wears a white jacket with sode-kukuri (cords) through the sleeves and open shoulders. Strings called muna-himo were attached to each lapel and tied in front to keep the garment closed. Ayame's kosode would be very much like a modern Kendo or Naginata Keikogi, with the sleeve fitting somewhat closely like a modern loose shirt and extending slightly past the wrist. The slits on the side of her hakama, and the openings at the sleeves and shoulders of her hitoe (jacket) showed the white kosode she sported. She wears a bright red nagabakama (a very long hakama), which included the small board on the lower back. Like a majority of previous priestess, she also wore common tabi (socks) and rice straw sandals. Ayame sported a red Obi, or belt, over all her other garments.

Personality: Ayame was always known as a compassionate woman. Kind, caring, and considerate, she was very sympathetic toward everyone, even her enemies. She poured out her soul to anyone in need of help, even after the Outbreak. Ayame was also very good with children before the Outbreak; no matter where she went to, the children were always fond of her.

Ayame is highly skilled in anarchy due to her being a miko(priestess).. Coming from an family of shrine maidens and priests, Ayame has fully mastered the power of archery. She can easily shoot enemies from long or short distances.

Weaponry: Bow and Arrows


Background: Ayame is a natural born priestess coming from a family of shrine maidens and priests. Before the Outbreak started she was just finishing high-school when mother and father went ill. Putting off her priestess training she decided to try and nurse her parents back to their former health. One day while bringing her father his daily tea she walked in to see him eating her mother. As she went into a temporary moment of shock the thing that was once her father looked up from his position and started towards Ayame causing the black-haired girl to snap out of her shock and charged at her father with newfound rage. Using the steel tray to bash his face in the woma went on a rampage in the shrine killing everyone inside for they all have turned. Taking a set of arrows and her own personal wooden bow. Since the incident at the Shrine she has since been traveling around looking for other survivors.

RP Sample: The sound of light footsteps padding on gravel could be heard as a flash of red and white could be seen. Long raven hair flowed in a slow rhythmic rhythm. Doll-like violet eyes glanced around hurriedly looking for any signs of movement. Ayame ducked behind a car silently as she heard an low moaning sound coming a few miles ahead of her current location. She tensed her body of all movement and even going as far as holding her breath as the sound got closer. Taking a moments chance to peek around to see just how many there were she quickly glanced around the large trunk she was hiding behind before hurriedly drawing her head back with a look of annoyance present on her usually static face. There were only five. Five gray bodies of decaying flesh slowly closing in on her.

With a dreadful sigh Ayame mutely took a long wooden arrows out of her set and grabbed the large bow that was strapped onto her back. As she set up the bow and arrow she cursed under her breath as she heard them getting close. With a quick breath Ayame quickly jumped out from her hiding place with a determined look on her face and shot out the arrow at the first undead to look her way thus gaining the four others attention. As they started towards the raven-haired woman the priestess quickly withdrew two more wooden arrows and aligned them at their targets before shooting them to the undead men heads squarely between their eyes causing them to immediately fall dead on their faces. With newly found speed the last two rushed toward the static priestess with their blooded mouths agape as though they were going to catch her only for one of them to be shot in their mouth by said priestess causing them to fall to ground dead within seconds. The last one however proved to be much more of a fight as it grabbed onto Ayame. Grappling with thing that tried to latch onto her neck for a chunk of her soft flawless flesh. Ayame wrestled with the thing for a few more minutes before she threw it on the ground and lodged an arrow into it's head.

Ayame let out an exhausted sigh as she used the sleeve of her jacket to wipe the blood from her face that she gained from the the now officially dead man at her feet. Taking the arrow out of its head. After removing the other arrows from the dead 'things' heads. Putting the arrows back into their rightful place. She however decided to keep her bow in her hands for just in case. Face now static again but more vigilance Ayame continued her walk up the vacant street with only her the sound of her footsteps to accompany her on her lonesome travels.
